MEET THE FOUNDER

– M.Ed, Certified Project ImPACT Coach
Dena Riddick built BSD Therapy to do what she has always done — meet families where they are and give every child the chance to thrive. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Dena has spent her career serving inner-city and neighboring communities, and BSD Therapy is the fullest expression of that mission.

Dena began as a special education teacher, where her work with children on the autism spectrum opened her eyes to the power of early intervention. She found her calling at the intersection of education and therapy — where the right support at the right time changes the entire trajectory of a child’s life.

As a special instructor and behavior coach, Dena’s approach is firm, compassionate, and deeply community-rooted. She specializes in empowering families — especially those who lack confidence in navigating systems — into becoming their child’s strongest advocates.

In 2023, Dena founded Baby Cue Coaching LLC with a clear purpose — to build a culturally competent, minority-owned team that truly reflects and understands the communities they serve. BSD Therapy grew from that foundation, bringing together clinical expertise, community knowledge, and family-centered care under one roof.

Who We Are

Baby Cue Coaching (BCC) provides evidence-based coaching services and supports to families of infants or toddlers (birth to age 3) with developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and related conditions.

BCC specializes in behavior intervention and sensory integration therapy.
We are a group of special educators, therapists, and social workers committed to creating a brighter future for our children, families, and communities.

What We Do

Baby Cue Coaching is proud to offer a wide range of therapeutic services and support for families of young children with developmental delays, autism and related conditions. We empower parents and caregivers to facilitate their child’s specialized education and learning opportunities.

We collaborate with our families, caregivers, and childcare teachers to provide culturally appropriate, family-prioritized coaching support.

Early Intervention (EI) can help your child reach their full potential by providing targeted support during critical brain development. This can lead to improvements in their motor skills, cognitive abilities, social communication, and behavioral health. EI can help address factors that put are children at risk of negative outcomes, such as poverty, neglect, or exposure to violence. This can lead to improved social, emotional, and behavioral health.
